Acclaimed conductor Thibaut has leukaemia and needs a bone marrow donor. Learning he was adopted, he finds an older brother, a musician and factory worker. Their reunion sparks a fraternal, musical journey amidst the town’s factory closure.

Words and songs of community and celebration… and a sprinkling of bah humbug! presented by Far Cry, a mixed Acapella group from Huddersfield, who bring their own very special take on the festive season with a blend of folk carols from around the world and a sprinkling of winter wonderland all performed through up-lifting harmonies. Songs will be interspersed with atmospheric and thought-provoking prose and poetry performed by members of Holmfirth Writers’ Group.
